The Challenge:
Gamers are well known for their dedication to hardcore PC rigs, so to highlight Cloud Gaming on Optus on Australia’s fastest 5G network in collaboration with NVIDIA GeForce NOW Powered by CloudGG, we had our work cut out for us. To shift gamers’ attention to the potential of Cloud Gaming on Optus 5G, we went beyond mere claims of Cloud Gaming’s performance and arranged the ultimate test.
Five renowned Australian gamers were sent to remote locations to unbox “The Future of Gaming” from real life loot crates. Inside, instead of high-end rigs, they found standard mobile phone setups with Cloud Gaming on Optus 5G. Cue shock, surprise, live streamed Twitch videos of them playing high definition games in the middle of nowhere without lag and the start of a gaming revolution.
